Your quiz choices are used to calculate equipment recommendations in your browser. If you purchase the optional plan, the chosen setup, quiz answers, language, and Paddle transaction ID are sent to our server to verify payment and generate your personalized report. We do not ask you to submit payment-card details to HomeCafeMatch.
When you visit or interact with the site, analytics may collect page visits, referral or campaign parameters, selected quiz categories, and product interaction events. These events are intended not to contain your email address or free-form personal answers. Your chosen language and acquisition context may be stored in browser storage. If you separately join the waitlist, you provide an email address for that purpose. If you use the contact form, we use your name (if provided), email, topic, and message to handle your inquiry and reply.
2. Service partners and links
- Google Analytics measures site use and product events. Google AdSense may display advertising and use cookies or similar technologies, subject to your browser and applicable consent choices.
- Paddle processes optional purchases as merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout and buyer billing data under its own Privacy Notice.
- Google Gemini processes the quiz and setup information sent to generate a purchased report.
- MailerLite receives an email address only when you submit the optional waitlist form.
- Google Gmail delivers contact-form messages from our server to a private support inbox. The destination inbox address is not published on the site.
- Retailer or affiliate links take you to third-party sites with their own privacy practices. We may receive referral attribution or commission information.
3. Your choices
You can use free recommendations without joining the waitlist. You can decline optional email signup, change browser language settings, clear local storage, and use browser controls for cookies and tracking. Some browsers or extensions may block analytics or advertising. If you have signed up for MailerLite emails, use the unsubscribe link in any message to opt out.
4. Retention and questions
HomeCafeMatch does not currently provide a user account or a permanent report library. Third-party providers retain information under their own policies and legal obligations; we do not claim that a payment record can be deleted immediately after purchase.
